The Academy of Model Aeronautics, Inc. is a family-oriented organization, and ModelAviation.com is “G” rated. ModelAviation.com is an official communication outlet for the Academy of Model Aeronautics and it's flagship publications, Model Aviation. This site is open to all AMA members and anyone with an interest in model aviation. Articles are sometimes aggregated from other sources, but are primarily a supplement to Model Aviation. While we may respond to comments, Model Aviation makes no warranties or claims regarding the validity of any information posted by users. The information or opinions contained in any comments are solely those of the person who made the post or comment. In light of this limitation, please be advised that the use of any information on the site is at your own risk. General Comment Policy First and last name required for approval of comments. Advertising, spamming or trolling is not allowed. This includes comments and/or replying directly to other user’s comments. There will be ZERO tolerance for spamming; spammers will be banned immediately and permanently. Do not link to any site that contains adult content, sexually oriented material, or might otherwise be considered offensive. Any post containing an inappropriate link will be deleted and the poster will receive a warning. Please remember that this is an international site and be aware that what may not be considered offensive in your culture may be offensive to people of another culture. Offensive language or personal attacks are not permitted. We will not tolerate rudeness or personal attacks, or the use of any obscene, indecent, vulgar, or offensive language. Our decision is final in these matters. Masked vulgarity is using curse words and trying to “mask” them with other symbols or letters, so that the word isn’t spelled out. Comments of this nature will be removed. No discussions about illegal activities. Respect the copyrights of other people, websites, software and printed media. Posts soliciting or advertising events, items or businesses, which include phone numbers, websites, buy/sell items, spam, etc., will be removed. Addresses, phone numbers (fax, pager, etc.), and other private information does not belong on the comments. The only exception to this rule is contact information for legitimate resources and nonprofit organizations. Keep things positive. Even if you’ve decided you don’t like the topic or a particular person, at least respect his/her opinion. Negative comments will be removed.
