AMA recognized by FAA as a CBO

The FAA has officially recognized AMA as a community-based organization (CBO). CBO recognition is important for many reasons. This validates and gives credibility to oursafety program among stakeholders and regulators. Although AMA has been shaping regulations for decades, legislation gives CBOs a more formal seat at the table when the FAA considers recreational regulations. To watch the November 16, 2022, video announcing this exciting news, watch the video above or visit www.facebook.com/modelaviation.
