When reflecting on the beginnings of AMA and aeromodeling, the Good brothers often come to mind. One of the brothers’ first successful models was the Big Guff. Pictured in this National Model Aviation Museum Snapshot is a reproduction of the aircraft, which was built by a group of people and given to Walt Good in 1988. You can view a Museum Snapshot

Celebration of Eagles Video Now Online
The first Celebration of Eagles took place July 6-7, 1996, and was an event unlike any other in AMA’s history. It was destined to be remembered by those who attended as the greatest gathering of the legends, innovators, and leaders in our organization and hobby. Although two similar events followed in subsequent years, the first celebration drew the most people.
