Free New—and Old—Plans

To celebrate Model Aviation’s 50th anniversary, this issue presents readers with a couple of construction articles from the past and present!

On page 26, Pat Tritle details the Alexander Eaglerock, a seldom-modeled biplane design from 1925. A laser-cut short-kit is available from Manzano Laser Works, while four sheets of plans for the 1:8.7-scale biplane can be downloaded for free on the Model Aviation website at www.ModelAviation.com/plans or purchased through the AMA Plans Service for $40 at https://plans.modelaircraft.org.

Then, step back in time to July 1975 with the Dart-Too on page 35. Designed by Frank Ehling, it was based on the Delta Dart and utilized as the second step in developing a beginner aeromodeler’s skills. Download the plans online at www.ModelAviation.com/plans.
