58 Free Classic Era Model Plans

In this month’s "Free Flight Scale" column, Tom Hallman gets excited about the Flying Aces Club (FAC) Nats in Geneseo, New York, where several Guillow’s models will be flown in celebration of the company’s 100th anniversary. For those who are unable to attend the FAC Nats, an International Postal Contest will be held until December 31, 2026, which includes three categories: Modern Era, Classic Era, and Classic Era Indoor.

The AMA Disaster Relief Grant

You never know what Mother Nature has in store until it’s too late. AMA’s Disaster Relief Grant is available to AMA chartered clubs whose flying site(s) might have been damaged by a disaster such as a hurricane, earthquake, flood, firestorm, etc. The grant is designed to assist clubs in clearing debris and/or making repairs so that the field is once again accessible and usable by club members; however, it is not meant to pay for repairs to structures or facilities that have been affected by the natural disaster.
