Digital editions on iPad

It seems that every time I try to read the digital edition, I have to download it again. Is there any way to download it once and save a copy on my iPad? I want to be able to read it when I am not on wifi. Other magazine apps do this.

Hi Keith- The app is native to the device, meaning once you download an issue you do NOT need internet access to read the magazine. Some of the bonus content, links, and videos may not be enabled, but the magazine as a whole is completely readable without an internet connection. The downloading error is caused by two possible issues. 1) You are not allowing issue to fully download before closing the app. The app will allow you to read the magazine before it is downloaded completely to your device. Monitor the progress bar next time you start a download. 2) Sometimes we push updates or changes to an issue. While not necessary, it is encouraged you redownload the issue again. I hope this helps.
