The Southeast Electric Flight Festival brings together electric enthusiasts from across the country to Hodges Hobbies for a weeklong celebration of electric flight. Open flying, raffles, and noontime demonstrations featuring exciting models flown by skilled pilots are all part of this event.
The Hangar 9 Inverza 62, captured on the cover, was one of the impressive aircraft demonstrated by Horizon Hobby. The design comes from Kimball Enterprises and drew inspiration from the Pitts Model 12, while shedding a wing to be produced as a monoplane.
