Camp AMA 2017

Image

A week of learning Event coverage Camp AMA is a week-long summer camp held each year at AMA’s headquarters in Muncie, IN. Throughout the week, campers have the opportunity to learn and work on their flying skills with their peers and some of the best RC pilots in the world. This year’s 6-night camp brought young RC pilots together from states as far as California. It was led by Jessy Symmes, the Coordinator of Educational Programs, with the help of skilled pilot counselors, like competitors AC Glenn and RJ Gritter. Campers spent the whole week on site learning new maneuvers, improving their models, and of course, flying; every day and even one night. Is there just a camp for adults? There is a great need and market for those that want an intensive time to learn and work on their flying skills.
