Model Aviation magazine made its debut during the Academy of Model Aeronautics' inaugural year in 1936.

In 1966, the magazine merges with American Modeler. When American Modeler closed its doors in 1975, the AMA brought Model Aviation back in house. Below are over 300 photos of each cover starting with the first in house issue in July 1975.

I can remember some of these, but it doesn't seem like 30-40 years ago. I think many of these are still in my office.
