Zap Glue: A quick tip for using foam-safe CA

House of Balsa is the western and Canadian master distributor for Zap Glue. According to Paul Stenberg, if you are having trouble with Zap’s Foam Safe Glue and Accelerator, there is likely an easy fix. With this tip, you’ll be creating strong and lasting bonds in no time. With traditional CA glue, you usually place the adhesive on one piece of balsa, bind the two pieces together and spray the area with the accelerator. However, this will not work with foam safe adhesive; it will not cure. When using the foam safe glue, first place the accelerator on one of your foam pieces and let sit for a few seconds. Apply the adhesive to the opposite foam piece you are gluing. Join the pieces together and hold for 10 to 20 seconds to solidify the bond.
